The Premium Loose Leaf Tunlu Green Tea of this evaluation is a pan fired green team made from tea leaves of the Di Shui Xiang Cultivar grown using biodynamic organic farming methods. The tea is IMO Organic Certified. The tea was picked in early April and produced following the orthodox method of plucking, withering, rolling, pan firing and packing. Through this process, the lustrous green leaves are tightly rolled and kinked into a shape that is said to be reminiscent of an eyebrow. In keeping with its premium grade the brewed leaves are mostly bud sets of one bud plus one or two leaves. The tea can stand up to several infusions, producing a mellow taste and nice fragrance with a long lasting aftertaste. The vendor indicate that this tea is a very good choice for daily drinking.
