In 2001, a tiny 75 hectare tea garden emerged in remote Eastern Nepal, poised to do big things in spite of its size. Jun Chiyabari was a vision to bring some of the best tea growing land in the world under cultivation. Growers produce the tea according to strict organic practices. Attention to detail make this tea a fantastic story, but it is in the cup that we find its value. Comparable with top Darjeelings, the tea is tart and herbaceous, green around the edges with floral backbone. It is proof that quality is the sum of its parts.
