Under the watchful eye of the International Tea Masters Association, the Tea Masters Association of India & Sri Lanka is sponsoring a special 14-Week ITMA Tea Mastery Certification Course™ in Goa, India, at the majestic Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. The training starts Oct. 13, 2014.
Goa is India’s richest state and was ranked as having the best quality of life in India. It is visited by large numbers of international and domestic tourists each year with tourism focused on the coastal areas. In 2010, there were more than two million tourists reported to have visited Goa, about 1.2 million of whom were from abroad. As of 2013, Goa was the destination of choice for Indian and foreign tourists. Watch this video for an excellent overview of the Goa Experience.
Goa and the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa are ideal locations for the upcoming 14-Week ITMA Tea Mastery Certification Course™, which consists of two parts. The first part is the 3-Day Comprehensive Tea Mastery Course™ held on-site at the Marriott from October 13th-15th from 9 am to 5 pm each day. The 14-Week Tea Mastery Tasting Course™, the second part of the training, starts the following week involving home study, tasting and evaluating 38 different teas, and periodic online group teleconference sessions to share experiences and ask questions.
The training contains all the educational requirements an individual needs for achieving the ITMA Certified Tea Master™ designation once the program, blind tea tasting, and final examination are successfully completed. This title is the most prestigious in the entire tea industry.
The training will be led by ITMA Certified Tea Master™ Chas Kroll, Executive Director of the International Tea Masters Association, whose experienced, sophisticated palate prefers top-grade exquisite teas. He promises to make it an interesting and memorable experience for everyone.
